Wow, this is great! Will give it a try. Thank you so much!
Good to know. I don’t see how to unsubscribe them from notifications via the admin console at all. I guess I could do it via the database.
I am using PMPro for membership.
Thanks!
In reply to: WordPress/bbPress random redirectA new issue on an old site. It’s probably happening to about 10% of users. The main reason I was thinking it was bbPress is because it is typically happening on new posts and when a user hasn’t been to the site in a while. Yes, would be much easier if I could recreate it! Let me see if I have reports of it happening outside of the forum.
Thanks!
In reply to: WordPress/bbPress random redirectEssentially, yes. It takes them back to the screen where they need to buy a membership.
Thanks!
Sorry to pile on here, but did you find the cause of this issue. I am having a similar problem on my site. The difference is that having the user clear their cookies on their browser fixes the problem. It seems to only happen on new threads in the forum, but I can’t recreate it either.
Thanks!
In reply to: Replies not indentingYeah, I get it. Thanks for your help.
In reply to: Replies not indentingThat doesn’t make sense to me. Every forum I have ever used indents replies to the original topic too…so you know it’s a reply. Thank you for the explanation.
In reply to: Replies not indentingIn reply to: Replies not indentingHere is a test site I setup. http://alitho12.dreamhosters.com/
In reply to: Replies not indentingThat’s why I said it is a fresh install. Literally…installed WordPress, bbpress, created a forum and it doesn’t work.
In reply to: Replies not indentingMy live site with a 3rd party theme is not public. The test site I have is just running locally in a docker container. It is a fresh install using the built-in themes.
In reply to: Replies not indentingThe problem isn’t with the replies jumping, it’s that they are not indenting. However, I did try that and it doesn’t work.
In reply to: Forum structure questionOK…that’s kind of what I needed to know. I am a programmer (though haven’t done PHP). I definitely know FTP. I needed to determine if it could be done with existing tools before I dove into the code.
Thanks!
In reply to: Forum structure questionI put together a mockup of what I am trying to do. I want the main page to be a list of forums, but above that should be any posts that are Super Sticky to be used as site-wide announcements without having to go into a forum to see them.

In reply to: Forum structure questionUnless I am doing something wrong, item 6 forum description just shows up under the forum name. I am looking to put announcements/notices above the listing of forums. There is an old plugin called bbpress-notices that does something similar. Preferably, I would like these to be Super Sticky posts instead of just notices but could work with that.
In reply to: Forum structure questionOh interesting, I do have that pack but I didn’t realize it could do quite that much. I will give it a try. Thank you!
In reply to: Threaded Replies Not IndentingI should have added that I also have the bbp style pack and enabled that bug fix and it didn’t work.
In reply to: Reply Threading not workingDid you ever find a solution?
In reply to: Reply Threading not workingOops…that’s the BuddyPress version. I am using 2.5 of bbPress.
In reply to: Pinned topics at parent forumHere is what I have:
The top image is the list of forums (essentially the parent forum), the list of Topics below is what I want pinned above the list of forums.
In reply to: Local instance posts don’t workI checked the forum first, but apparently not well enough. I found the answer here:
In reply to: Blank PagesHave you found a solution for this? I also have a live site that works great and when I used All In One Migration to create a local site, everything works fine except for the Forum. I just get a blank page.
