@robin-w Ahh ok I see, so basically they are only used for actual pages. That’s what I didn’t get before, I was wondering how I’d accomplish that using the shortcode for a widget. Now I understand this isn’t possible and shortcodes are only used for pages. Thanks man!
@j0n4h Actually I’m not really sure. I’m working with a partner who does most of the back end stuff, I’ll let you know if I find out!
@j0n4h Oh my bad, you must have posted that link before I refreshed my page. Yea that is strange, did you create a folder within your child theme called bbpress? This is how it’s setup in my directory: child theme>bbpress>loop-forums.php

Are you talking about the spacing between each group of forums? If so, this is how the code is written and it is part of the desired layout. I just recently used this same code and my forums look great! You can compare to yours and see if there’s a difference?

Is this to change the background color of the users reply or his actual name? I would like the same for my forum. I would like to change the colors of staff members as well as bold their names.
Thank you guys for helping me out with this! I set up the bbpress folder within my theme and added the file to it, it worked like a charm!
@robkk Thank you for that file! Now where do I paste it? I’m pretty sure I need to access my cPanel and then navigate to my file manager, correct? I’ve tried looking through my folders there last night and didn’t see anything regarding bbpress.
