This has been fixed. Was a issue with user tracking and dev4press plugin Milan provides the best support though Robin is just as good š thanks guys my index has never been faster!!
Yes when I look it seems a lot of Ajax-admin calls for some reason. Not sure why that is happening
@gdragon I Have looked before But canāt seem to find what it is that causing it. I try again over the weekend
It is way faster if not ālogged inā site donāt use cache plugin so thatās not issue either but is much slower if logged in to site vs not logged in
It is nginx but I donāt think thatās the issue
9.75 seconds to load shortcut “bbp-forum-index”, 3.75 seconds to load shortcut “new-posts-last-month” really seems index takes FOREVER i even made a test index page with no widgets and no sidebar and still takes nearly 10 sec. i would be thrilled if i could shave just a few seconds of the index somehow

I am seeing it from appearance/menu “bbpress specific” links seem show new and old fav & sub topics since bbpress upgrade but appearance/menu “bbpress topic views” dont seem to show newer subs or favs since update just old ones before upgrade if that makes any since at all
Possibly could be widgets? I have a lot on index page but never used to be slow with the widgets. Honestly not sure itās strange I wish I could figure it out!
Robins plugin (temp fix) is working great for me and site has 1000’s of topics 10’s of thousands of post BUT since installing i seem to have large delay loading the index. Is this expected behavior or should i dig deeper into what is causing issue?
So anyone running 2.6.4? How does it work for you?
I was thinking same thing but lets hope 2.6.4 solves all the little issues that were found and will be worth the wait!

@rolandbianco your still using wanguard too? i loved that plugin but not sure its safe anymore? but the registration question option is great! looking up bruteprotect never heard of that one

For my site I didnāt want it and I was just commenting that I had to remove it with a plugin. That is all I was saying. I prefer just a link donāt need preview. Thatās why I thought it was funny. Sorry didnāt mean to hijack your thread
Funny reading this as i had to install Disable Embeds plugin to STOP the previews in bbpress/wordpress/buddypress as it made a mess to my format and overlapped everything.i can only assume my Kleo theme caused it to “work” in bbpress. So maybe try a different theme?
@robin-w I still use wanguard just for security questions i assume this is ok as it still works for that!? it really is to me the best way to help stop spam registration. You think there is a plugin that does this and is current? i will check your link. Yes i recall when author of wangaurd stopped due to pressure and have been looking ever since for something that worked as good as that plugin did. checking your link but let me know if i shouldnt be using wanguard just for the questions option š
@packzap the plugin linked in this thread will fix issue until bbpress’s next release is ready and that should fix it and assume the plugin will no longer be needed.
I am also seeing this problem. I added @ajtruckle code to my childs function.php and will see if it helps. frustrating as bbpress dont email admin about pending posts/topics or replies so hard to keep track. hope the code works until they get it sorted out.
