In my case Sub-Forum Topics and Post counts are not displayed in home page. Is that by design too?

I installed 1.0.1. Forum works as usual, but admin CSS is not working.
DO I have to do any additional changes to files to get CSS fixed?
I have the exact same issue and in addition user base is not shared.
