In reply to: Pesky sub forum formatting
Goodness this is so crazy.
Do this a few thousand times a day, and you get used to it very quickly.
In reply to: Pesky sub forum formattingWelcome to the life of a developer. Read the error message, and fix what it’s telling you. 🙂
Hint: You’re missing a ‘)’ or something else is in the way of the ‘)’ that’s there.

Not really enough information to help you. Probably a theme or plugin conflict, or a bug.
In reply to: Pesky sub forum formattingNo no no. Don’t hack core. Copy whichever template file has this call to it, directly into your theme, in the same location it is in bbp-theme-compatibility. Use the code above, but correctly formatted.

In reply to: Topics are missing for everyone but meFixed the bbporg issue for 2.1.1. Will look into the other later this evening.
In reply to: Topics are missing for everyone but meMost likely it is. :sigh: #blamejjj
In reply to: bbpress 2.1 broke fetch_feed functionThat’s annoying. Can you create a trac ticket over on bbpress.trac.wordpress.org, and I’ll check it out for 2.1.1?
In reply to: Topics are missing for everyone but meIf bbporg_ is in the twentyten theme, that’s me being an idiot; and I’ll have to fix it in 2.1.1. Can you create a trac ticket over at bbpress.trac.wordpress.org, and I’ll take a look into this more?

In reply to: bbPress.org Updated to 2.1Thanks everyone for the kind words. 🙂
In reply to: Topics are missing for everyone but meDoes Membership-lite have any bbPress specific code in it? I suspect it has something to do with roles and capabilities. Maybe try deactivating bbPress, reactivating it, and visiting Settings > Forums. That silently does a bit of validation on some bbPress settings, in the event things get botched somehow.
In reply to: After update Wp 3.4.1That’s a bit odd, since that’s a core WordPress WP_Query method.
Can you confirm that your update went smoothly? Maybe try reinstalling bbPress manually.
Also, what theme are you using? It’s possible there’s a conflict, or something else weird is going on.
Thanks for helping.
In reply to: bbPress for Millions of posts? Not into the millions here, but I just migrated over about 140k posts and 40k tag relationships last night.
So far, nothing is on fire yet!
In reply to: Help us combat spamThis should be much less of an issue now that we’re running bbPress 2.1. Guess we’ll see what happens!
In reply to: ConvertingDone!
