Hi, your bbpress wp4 fix is perfect @robin-w my topics are showing up again.
Is this a known issue? Do you know if it will be officially fixed in the next bbpress release?Thank you a lot
I don’t have any mobile right now to test it out but when I do I will report any issues.

Hello, when we click favorite or subscribe button on a topic, it doesn’t work and show a window with “undefined” . But right click and “open new window” works.
when replacing the bbpress theme with the basic one, it does work. But when I install the starter pack https://bbpress.org/forums/topic/i-have-created-a-bbpress-starter-theme-with-a-phpbb-look-and-feel/ buttons dont work anymore and are showing “undefined”
Any ideas which file can be causing this? :/

I see you posted on this topic, did you try it?It turns basic bbpress to this for example: http://teamoverpowered.com/forums/
And I agree, this is not because YOU don’t like bbpress the way it is, that EVERYONE do, it is not true. Some people like it this way because it is simple.

In reply to: Pagination issue when threaded replies are enabledYes I understand, I would prefer to use threaded replies with pagination too but just now we can’t… 500 replies on a single page is not possible…
but I continue to think it was done in purpose looking at the bbpress codex:

This will allow your users to reply to specific replies, providing context to the discussion in a ‘threaded’ view. This will also remove topic pagination so the topic and all replies will only be a single page.Let’s just hope someone will see our post and help us… :/
In reply to: Pagination issue when threaded replies are enabledI have never seen any response from the devs/leaders of the bbpress team themselves, seems only volunteers (and thank you very much to them) are answering this forum. I can understand that, because they already created this plugin in their spare time, are not paid or anything, so if they had to answer here it would be a lot of more work… that is what I think.
I think the threaded/nested replies included in bbpress are working the way it should, it is not a bug, it is just the way they wanted it to be it seems.
The only way to fix this problem is to find someone skilled enough to code /and/or hack the current code to change the way nested replies are working and add pagination to it.
I am trying to do it, but can’t figured it out yet… I am not a developper at all, so there is a lot of things I don’t understand… :/Another solution would be to update the bbPress Threaded Replies plugin https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/bbpress-threaded-replies to make it work with the new bbpress version (and disable the integrated system in bbpress…) but I don’t know how to do that either…
Hope we’ll find a fix soon, if someone has an idea we’ll be really grateful 🙂

Unfortunately it does not seem to work right.
In fact, there is a pagination with threaded replies with your code, but same replies are replicated on each page (so it is always the whole bunch of replies on each page) it does not separate them.Would be greatly appreciated if someone has another idea 🙂

Hi, I have the exact same problem, did you manage to fix this @estepix ?
or did you have to use the outdated plugin Threaded Replies? :/I really need pagination WITH threaded replies on my bbpress forum the same way @estepix explained it. Because when a topic has over 500+ replies it is NOT conceivable to display them on the SAME page.
Do someone have a trick to do the following?
Enable threaded replies N levels deep
Break replies into pages with N top level replies per page and the first/last page displayed by default
Replies should be displayed with the older/newer replies at the top of the pageThank you very much for your help 🙂
