Oh… thanks. I WAS looking in the wrong place. It works perfectly.

What am I looking for in the Dashboard > Users? I don’t see anything about subscriptions or forum or any reference to bbpress. I did activate the “Subscriptions Management”.

I know this is an older thread and the plugin mentioned has not been updated in 5 years. Does it still work now?

I have another member who passed and I am in a similar situation and she had almost 200 subscriptions.

    That css code works!

And to answer your question, I use that pdf generator plugin for blog posts. I don’t know if it has anything to do with forum posts. Which is why I never made the connection.

I posted this “conflict” on the PDF plugin page. Maybe they have a solution?

    You are correct!!!!!

If I need a different plugin to turn my blog posts into downloadable pdf, I am all ears. I had to switch recently as the previous one was no longer working.

    Unfortunately, it didn’t work. 🙁

Hum… maybe so. If I deactivate the plugin, all the images uploaded with it, in the forum threads are gone. So deactivating it is not a solution as it will remove all images.

So, maybe a WP update didn’t play well with it.

Now, I am worried that if I use a different plugin, I will be losing every image in the process 🙁

I have tried deactivating the Image uploader and it didn’t help so my guess is that it is something else, but what? and mostly, what to do about it?

I posted this question in a WP group to see if there was any suggestion into what to look for. The response I got was that it would be something related to Thickbox.

It does not mean anything to me.

    Does it make sense?

regular user – no, and beyond free help – sorry

It was worth asking as it might have been another “hidden” setting I didn’t know about.
    Thanks again.

Thanks. That works for me as admin.

Now, while at it, is there a way for a regular user to “search” for someone they might not have seen in a while?

And by the way, how do we report spam posts in this forum?

How do I access their profile? If someone has not posted in a few months, the only way I know to find their profile is to browse the forum until I find one of their posts. There has to be a simpler way. Can one search for a member?

    @cassel

This seems to work BUT it won’t let the posts display images anymore. In my case, I have to choose between threaded replies (requested by the members) and ability to post images (which is essential to my site).
    Any fix for that?

    @cassel

Any known issues with this plugin? Wordfence insists that it is a high issue of the plugin being abandoned, even though it still works for me.

I just want to make sure it is still safe to use.

@robin-w if you ever have a chance, can you look into this “conflict”? My members have been asking for the nested replies, but it won’t display the images then, which is the whole point of the forum.

I found the explanation. I was setting them to Sticky (because when they are live, they are typically sticky for a month) but I guess that overrides other settings.

So by setting them as Normal instead of Sticky, it works.

I followed your suggestion and disabled plugins (I did in groups as I could not disable everything at once). I could not find anything that would make those scheduled posts disappear from the list.

I installed the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin (great tool by the way). Changing theme didn’t do anything. Enabling bbpress alone, it was still showing those scheduled posts. Nothing else (but the must-use plugins) was enabled.

And none of your plugins is associated with that either.

Not sure if it is due to updates, but I am trying to schedule some topics. I tried having them Open and scheduled, and I tried Pending and schedule, but they always still appear in the forum for anyone, even the non-logged in.

At this time (June 18, 2021), I have scheduled three posts. Although the content is not visible, the headline is.

    Challenges

August Palette challenge – open and scheduled
July Freebie challenge – open and scheduled
June Tut/Tech challenge – pending and scheduled

I can still see those even as incognito, or on a different browser, not logged in.

Where do I set it to allow shortcodes to show inside bbpress posts?

I tried that extra plugin made by Robin, and it worked fine. I was very happy, EXCEPT it won’t let the images display anymore (images uploaded using bbPress Multi Image Uploader).

Is any tweak possible to benefit from both features?

    No, I see this:
View Edit Change Profile Photo Change Cover Image

    And in Edit, I get
    Edit Profile
    Editing “Base” Profile Group

But neither one is clickable for me

    I actually don’t see SUBSCRIPTIONS.
    All I see are these:
Home Activity Profile Notifications Messages Forums Settings

Maybe I am not looking in the righ place? (I am using BuddyPress so maybe the profile is different)
