Thanks tharsheblows. Is this a paid plugin?

Is there a free plugin for this? I tried a few but no success… including this one https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-password-policy-manager/

maybe all these plugins don’t work with bbpress?

    Thanks Stephen.

In that case, is it possible to hide the ‘hidden/private’ forum/topic even under the user profile to all non-logged in user or users with no access to the hidden/private forum/topic?

to have ‘Error 404’ it gives users the impression that something is wrong with the site that’s all.

    Thanks.

on the same ‘compose’ message – when the name eventually shows up and then I tried to enter another name and ‘tab’ the keyboard again, this time the second name doesn’t show up 🙁
question: can I compose same message and send to more than one users? e.g. 5 or whoever I select?
    Thanks.

Also, some names show up, after I write name and ‘tab’ on the keyboard on my desktop. Now, on mobile or tablet device there is no tab therefore names never show up though 🙁 how to make name show up then?

Oh, what did I do? what did I do? it seems fine now, search can’t find the hidden/private topic now. Still can’t believe what happened especially on the ‘private’ topic, I tested and tested it showed to anyone searching for it. But now it’s ok.

Stephen, thank you so very much for the great support. You must have helped me to changed something by accident to make it work now. Thank you thank you!

Oops it seems the ‘search’ feature can find anything by anyone (logged-in or out visitors), it even finds topics/replies on PRIVATE/HIDDEN forum!

Also, the tags widget on private and hidden forum also direct to the private/hidden topics/replies too 🙁

How to make private/hidden forum/topic/reply – private? and can’t be searched/found by any visitor? Thanks.

Thanks Stephen for your help. I must done something wrong here. I did set ‘moderator’ on the forum role, and try different roles on WP and tick/untick toolbar. But seems like moderator can modify/delete topics and replies. But can’t create or edit forums? thanks.

Spending a lot of time with different setting on role – keymaster and moderator. no success 🙁 What I wanted was, to have another keymaster person to manage the forum but doesn’t want this person to have access to the wordpress back-end or plugin etc but only can add/edit/delete forum/topic and replies. Though I have set WP: ‘no role for this site’ and forum role: keymaster, but this person can see forum/topic and replies fine. But this role also see forum tools – which he/she can ‘repair/import and reset forum’ and “Forums Settings”.
How to disable the ‘Forum Tools’ and ‘Forums Settings’? Thanks

    Thanks in advance.

    I tried here… bbpress/includes/common/shortcodes.php

    though I entered ‘smallest’ => 11, and ‘largest’ => 20,

the font size only show 11 on all – same size. Did I do something wrong? I thought it would randomly display 11 to 20?

hmmm.. tried and tried with no success 🙁 I really like the sidebar tags on https://bbpress.org/forums/ but I can’t seem to do that! help appreciated. In fact, if it can be display not only on different font size but different (random) colour too that would be better for easy search. Thank you so much.
