Hi,
I have a problem.
We're running a multisite install and we want to run bbPress on one site.
Everything is in working order except user signup then visitors are redirected to wp-signup.php on root site.
I'd like them to always stay on the present site and that when they sign up they're assigned the role Forum Participant.
Is this possible?
Using Canvas theme from Woothemes. Copied files from the twentyten bbPress theme that comes with install.

Good tip! I tried twentyten, and sure enough, the forums work. Not sure where to go from here, but it must be the buddypress default theme acting up somehow.

Two things I like to try when attempting to find a problem with bbPress is to:

Switch to a default bbPress theme, like twentyten.
Go to settings > Permalinks and update my permalinks again.

The second one fixes a few issues and the first one lets you know if it is a problem with your template, or a problem with your data.

Pages
Categories

But not forums.

On another site I have the same set up and forums are an option to add to the menu.

Any ideas. Latest version of both bbpress and wp

Yeah, it still doesn't list the topics on any of the forums when I click on them. If I point my browser to the archival topics page, they show up, but not when actually clicking on the forums themselves.

I'm using the latest version of bbPress at http://www.mrhensler.com/forums. The forums show up fine, but when I click on them it just takes me to a blank page with a "comments are closed." Message. Any ideas?

Hi all,

I have been going nuts as to how I can successfully install bbpress latest version. Well, I tried everything and all just failed.

I downloaded the latest files, uploaded it in my root directory but never I did get the bbpress installation page. I am using latest WP installation (this is the intended URL http://www.easyenglishlearning.org/ask/) but I never got the bbpress installation instructions page.

Moreover, I also uploaded it to my plugins directory as mentioned in the downloading page and I got it in my Wp dashboard but it came just as a plugin and nothing a different forum software where I can change theme, and everything. Now, please guide me.

Does anyone know why the forum table in this forum http://lifeafterlondon.com/topic/where-to-go/ does not spread across the whole of the page, like all the other forums do on this site, in safari?

I can't find the issue with firebug, as that's a firefox tool and this is an issue with safari.

Also I can't find the reason for the big gap at the top of the forum table with firebug either.

Any help would be really appreciated here.

bbPress uses the default WordPress registration page.

DOMAIN/wp-login.php?action=register probably works.

None of our videos stop halfway and you never have to pay to watch any of them?

I suggest you try again and also checkout archives, google, or even our YouTube or Vimeo libraries ("labsecrets" is the name), and you will find hundreds of full length, all free videos.

You would be better off using something like this inside loop-single-forum:

bbp_list_forums(array ('count_sep' => ''));

Will do! If I try to switch from legacy caching to mod_rewrite, I get a complicated message saying there's a conflict in our .htaccess file, so I'm thinking that's probably it.
