Hello, I have been having an issue with editing posts. When members with Participant rank or below try to edit their posts/topics, they cannot as the “Edit” option doesn’t show at all. Both Edit/Delete, however when I make them into moderator or key master, the Edit/Delete button shows.

I have checked the role’s capabilities and both Edit/Delete topics is there. I have seen couple of topics regarding the same issue but never a successful answer. Some suggested changing theme, disabling plugins however none of these worked for me.

Please help out, thank you in advance.

Is the edit link showing up for participants for the allotted time you set the edit link to appear in your forum settings in Settings > Forums.

Does this only happen for edit links in reply posts, and not topic posts??

Do you have guest(anonymous) users posting to your site?

Or is it nothing right after submit?
