Is it even possible? I have a Mingle Forums install, but I want to switch to something like bbPress because Mingle development has stalled some year plus ago. I’ve got security worries and compatibility issues mounting, and want to switch to something better.

But I would MUCH rather not have to lose everything from my present forums. Am I fresh out of luck?

@jakub-orlowski The database name you have used is wrong.

In this image my database name is ntwb_mingle (at the very top)

Today I’ve been working on trying to migrate from the Mingle forum to bbPress. I have managed to get the import utility to create names for each of the subforums that I had in Mingle, but none of the actual topics or posts have been imported. Does anybody have any suggestions? Thanks.

Oh, never mind. Things start appearing nicely once I use some of the “Repair Forums” options.

Is this the best place for assistance in converting a Mingle forum to bbPress? I have 9100 forum posts in Mingle since 2011.
