Hi. Up until recently, my forum members could put html external image links (“img src”) in their posts and the images would appear. Suddenly however, none of those links are working and none of the images are showing up.

I suspect it has something to do with some new security plugins my programmer added (WP-SpamShield and IThemes Security), however that programmer has now gone and I can’t find anything in the settings of these plugins that refers to external image links.

Is it possible someone could help me, or has come across this problem before?

I’m sorry to hear about the recent trouble with images. We haven’t heard of WP-SpamShield ever interfering with images, but there could be something more specific in play. Feel free to contact us at our support URL for help.
