Hi there, right now I’m using Mingle Forum for my website. But this is becoming unstable. I’d like to install bbpress but will my data and topics stay intact?

Finally I’m working on the forum changes, but I’m stuck with the instructions:
Getting There
Log in to your WordPress Admin Dashboard
Select the ‘Tools’ tab select ‘Forums’ from the navigation menu
Select the ‘Import Forums’ tab at the top of the screen.

I don’t see the Import Forums tab?

Hi,
Directly under ‘Tools’, do you see ‘Forum import’ ? That is the one you need.
The direct page should be: http://www.example.com/wp-admin/tools.php?page=bbp-converter

No, I don’t see Forum Import anywhere. Do I need to install an extra plugin to see that?

If you have the bbPress plugin activated on your WordPress site.

Go to Tools > Forums, then select the Import Forums tab at the top, then in the forum platform dropdown select mingle forum.

As I said, I do not have that tab.
As a matter of fact, I have no tabs at all in that option.

You are in the bbPress plugin settings, but not the area I told you where it was.

Maybe you have a plugin that reorder/removes menu items where you cannot see it??

Wow, that’s an eye opener about a language problem!
It’s in my EXTRA menu (Dutch).
The advise was to go to SETTINGS, which is ‘Instellingen’ in Dutch.
This has a FORUM page, which is the reason I was stuck in the wrong corner.
Thanks for your printscreen, now I can make the next steps.
