i am using bbpress and i’d like to say that’s an easy and nice plugin. one thing i don’t know how to do, i don’t want people to be able to create more category, i just want user to create new topic under a category. how to do that?

thanks for your reply.
actually made a mistake i meant something else.
so i have my forum with different category which is fine.
when i am under my forum main page, i can create a topic from there and it will be displayed on the main page under no category. i’d like people to be able to create a topic only under a category, do you know what i mean?

Categories are just ‘headings’ to allow you to create forums under them. So you cannot post to a Category only a forum.

A link to your site might help define your problem, as I am struggling to understand

i have created a forum ‘freediveearthforum’ with different categories.
i’d like my users to be able to create topics under my different categorie not under freediveearthforum itself, do you know what i mean? Like you can see on my forum, there is topic named “test”, it is displayed on the main page, bit from my point of view it must be display under one of the category.
Or mauve i should create a fomum under each category?
