    Hello!

I tried adding the BBpress login shortcode ([bbp-login]) to my “My Account” page, but it does not appear. Is there something I’m missing?

    Thanks!

Yes, it does have Woocommerce shortcode.

Here’s the link, in case it helps…

    Thanks!

    I think I figured out a work-around…

In Settings > General (in the WP Dashboard), I checked “Anyone can register” for the Membership option. Then using Robin Wilson’s awesome “Private Groups” plugin, I made the forum accessible ONLY to those who paid for my class.

Now all a user needs to do is sign-in to my website through Woocommerce, and click a link directing them to the private forum.

PHEW. I really didn’t want folks to sign in twice.

Thanks for your time, either way!

    Kindly,
    Sharon

    alright

well just so you know the bbpress login form and woocommerce login form would work together

they would just sign the user into your WordPress site.

They dont have to sign in twice , but they can sign in multiple places , don’t recommend that but yeah they can use either one.

This is a great thread and applicable to what we are doing here, so if I may, I like to chime in with a question. We are transitioning to WP and BBpress from an HTML-based site. We are currently using the UBB for our forum. Is it possible to import the user names/profiles from the old UBB into BBp and let the users come in when they please and update their passwords?

    thank you.
