Hi, i am using role scoper to give access to forums and bb press notifies to send notification emails. If I add a topic to the forum. It sends an email to every user who is not authorized to access it.

no idea what role scoper does, but notify just notifies a level so will ignore whatever you are doing with role scoper.

you will need to provide a little more in terms of what you are trying to achieve if we are to help

    Hi, Robin
Thanks for the reply. Role Scoper restricts users to see the forums. It specifies the access rights to users or user groups.

Notify sends an email to all users in the system for a forum update.

Is there any way to send an email to user if only he have access to the forum.

    Thanks
    Regards
    Guru

Hi Robin, If it is small code change. I would like to work on it and customize it for my site.

    Thanks

I’d suggest you use my private groups plugin to restrict access to the forums, and Pascal’s toolkit to auto subscribe users to the forums

    Hi @guruprasadmulay,

It sounds like you could use a bridge plugin between bbPress Notify (No-Spam) and Role Scoper. I just looked it up and saw that it has been deprecated in favor of PublishPress Permissions. I’ll look into getting a bridge set up for it.

    Cheers,
    Vinny
