Assign moderator to be forum owner

I am keymaster. I have made the parent forum, sub-forum and topics. I now want to assign these to a moderator so that she can edit them, rather than having to give her permission to edit all users’ forums. There appears to be no way to do this, no way to change the creator.

I’ve downloaded the bbp-capabilities plugin, but this does not help as she is not listed as being the creator of anything.

This seems like quite an important facility missing, as I don’t want to have to re-create all forums etc. when a member of staff leaves or changes role.

I’ve searched for an answer to this but cannot find one. Thank you for all your help in advance.

Per forum moderation is noted for a future release of bbPress, i think they are going to test it out on wordpress.org first.

    Hi

I am new bbPress. I’m using WP 4.1.1 and 2.5.6-5643 bbPress.

    I need your help.

    My question is this:

I (Superadmin) I created 2 forums (ForumA, ForumB)
I also discharged manually 2 users with role Moderator (UserA, UserB).

How do I set that is UserA will be the only moderator for ForumA,
    and UserB to ForumB

    Thank You

Any idea when 2.6 is coming? It says it’s was planned to be launched 2 days ago, momentally.

I think that estimated release date is in error. There are still 50 active tickets. 7 of them high and 1 highest. It’s been 1 year and 4 months since 2.5 was released. I think it will be a while longer before we see 2.6.

    It is not an error.

2.6’s release date has been pushed back a few times.

It has been pushed back because of some of the active tickets.
