I was wondering if there was a setting that allowed moderators to post in closed forums? When admins log in to a closed forum they see this:

“This forum is marked as closed to new topics, however your posting capabilities still allow you to do so.”

I would like to extend this and only this to my moderators as well.

First of all, I’m wondering why you would still want to post if the forum is closed 🙂
But to answer the question: I don’t think there is a specific permission that can be granted without coding it specifically.
Two possibilities that you could check: 1) See my bbp-toolkit and protect some forums (instead of closing them) or 2) use bbp-private-groups to allow only certain persons to enter a specific forum.
