Hello,

I had an interesting thing happen today. I looked at my user account today and noticed that my forum role was Blocked. I tried changing the role back to Keymaster, but it wouldn’t stick.

The only way I could change the role, is to log in as another admin and change the role.

Any advice on how to find how my role got changed in the first place, and why I couldn’t change it myself?

Another interesting piece of information, I blocked another user earlier this morning, this is my best guess on when my account flipped to Blocked also.

Ahh man. I guess I hope that’s the case, but feel really silly if it is.

However, Is it normal for a user with Admin WP role to not be able to change his own forum role from Blocked to anything else?

have you tried any user role editor/capability plugins??

you could also try repairing the user roles through the forum tools in admin > tools > forums

and also creating a new account and hopefully everything should be fine after that.
