What if I don’t want a sidebar on the forum page? I want it to look like “full page template” . How do I do that for the forum only? (Yes, I am using BbPress plugin in WP)
I found out that the theme has a special setting on how many posts should be displayed and that overrides other settings.
Forums are kept in the same database table as ordinary posts and this is why the theme setting affects the forums as well.
It was very strange – I couldn’t figure it out so I wrote an if statement which checks whether the word “forum” is found in the URL. So if it is, it hides the comment form.
Silly solution, but it works.
My theme is Guangzhou.
