To add, most of the Categories are updated automatically, just a couple of Categories are not working correctly
I ended up running the BBP-Style-Pack ‘Reset Settings’ option and this cleared the odd behavior when only one Category was showing sub forums.
I have been left with a couple of odd visual differences, but a great improvement over what it was previously.

As an interesting update, this time I deleted the BBP Style Pack and then ran again the Forum Repair tools, this time the issue seems to have been removed and I will let the server rest over night, before re installing the style pack again 😉
I have rolled back style pack to v4.5 and issue remains.
I also created a test forum on another site I own and the style pack works as it should do 😉
It just does not work for my forum and alas I do not know why ?

Robin has released v4.6.6 for bbp-style-pack and so far working well 😉
For myself, [bbp-forum-index] works and shows both Freshness and Last Post, so can only assume the restriction is via your theme etc.
hopefully somebody else can advise as I have no idea what options is best for yourself to fix this issue
Had a look and cannot find anything obvious
For testing purposes, Create a test page with [bbp-forum-index] shortcode and see if Freshnesh and then Latest Post appears, if it does not then a conflict it maybe ?
can u provide link to your URL (website) ?
The shortcode I use for BBPress is [bbp-forum-index] and it shows freshness for myself.
Try this on a test page to see if this works ?

Hi Robin, I was drawing to the same conclusion also, I realis this is a bit of a wide question, would you have any idea what this could cost, I realize this is a very open ended question, but cold be something worth investing in from my perspective ?
I realize updates would be required, but that’s a problem for another day ?

To help clarify, this is NOT about previewing before posting. I am Wondering how to show the first X words of a thread or post as a tooltip when hovering over the thread link for example. Any plugins? Code? etc.
I have seen option for WordPress, but not for bbpress ?

If it is a direct copy, then I am not surprised it was rejected – thank you for spending your time with this challenge, but unless the code / design is unique, bbpress will keep rejecting.
FYI – I have got around the problem by using a widget that works and created a short code from that and placed that shortcode in the top menu on my page, a bit of a fudge but it will do for now.
