    Hi Robin

I haven’t used your new beta version but the errors seemed to have cleared now.

Do you think it’s best to use your updated beta version anyway ?

    Hi Robin

    Thanks again for your help.

I think I had it working but now I’m getting an error when I activate the plugin.

Warning: Illegal string offset ‘activate_remove_private_prefix’ in /Users/chris.dickinson/Desktop/MAMP-DocRoot/explore_ideas/src/php/wp-content/plugins/bbp-private-groups/includes/functions.php on line 140

This error message appears above the name of the forum in the forum list

Have you any idea hoe to fix this or what might be causing it.

    Hi Robin

My site is set up so only users that are logged in can see the forum.

All users that are logged into the site are participants in the forum.

I just need a forum that only some of the users can see.

    Hi Robin

Thanks for the reply and the plugin.

This looks like it could be exactly what I need but I’m having a few problems getting it to work the way I need it

Is it possible to have a forum that is completely hidden from some users.

I just need a forum that only some users can see.

So for the majority of users the forum index would be:

    Forum 1
    Forum 2
    Forum 3

For users with access to the hidden forum the forum index would be

    Forum 1
    Forum 2
    Forum 3
    Forum 4 – Private Forum

I don’t want users without access to the hidden forum to know it exists.

Is this possible with your plugin.

If this is possible could you briefly describe the process to do this.

Is this functionality already built in?

    Thanks again Stephen

Got it working now. I had the same words in comment moderation and blacklist so it wasn’t going into pending.

Should the admin get an email when a post goes into moderation if I have E-mail me whenever A comment is held for moderation selected in the Settings > Discussion.

I have two users set up – a Keymaster and a Participant

I have words in the moderation box.

As the Participant I can create a topic, if I use the moderated word I see the error message and the post os not displayed.

If I log into the WP Dashboard as the Keymanster I don’t see any topics

    Thanks for this Stephen.

So I’m testing the moderation as it is now. If I post with a word from the moderator list I get an error messaged saying the post carnet be posted.

Where is this post put? Where is the moderation queue?

    Thanks for the reply Stephen.

I really need some sort of message for the user if the post is being moderated.

Is there an action hook I can connect a message to.

I don’t really want to create a full plugin just a message when the posts is being moderated.

That looks plugin looks like it could work but I wanted it so a moderator or other role had the chosse to subscribe to a post.

If the user was a moderator the subscribe button would appear, if they weren’t it wouldn’t

Ok so I see in the back of wordpress bbpress settings I can deselect subscription to post and tags but this deletes it for all users.

How can I allow subscription and notification emails is only allowed for Moderators

    @ttmt

I think it might be a plugin that stopped it working. I turned off all plugins and now I think it’s working.

If I use a moderated word now the post is not added but I don’t get any indication that the post has failed moderation.

Should the user get a message if the post contains a word in the moderation list. If not is it possible to do this.

I have tried as a non admin but still getting the same response. How should the words be entered into the moderation text box – should they be comma or space separated.

I’m working locally now so I don’t have a link I can send.

I have a screen shot of the position – The buttons are oversized but the correct position.

I don’t want Participants to get an email when they post or if they get a reply to a post they have made.

    Hi all

I now this topic is over a year old but I was hoping someone might be able to help.

I have downloaded and activated the bbPress Post Ratings plugin.

I have bbPress 2.5.3 installed with forums and posts working.

Should the plugin work with the version of bbPress?

How do I use the plugin so I can rate the posts in the forum.

Thanks in advance for any help.
