I would love to see native PMs in bbPress, with a notification system better than an email (eg a widget, or popup informing the visitor of a new PM).
Yes, we imported our forum content from another plugin in February. We had to write a custom script because the Subdreamer forum system is not common and wasn’t in the dropdown list. Everything was working fine up until the recent updates.
We are also using the following bbPress related plugins:
bbP private groups
GD bbPress Toolbox
I reverted to the twentyfifteen theme and it does the same thing, so it’s not a theme issue.

Can you please tell me how you managed to style your ‘Laatste forumreacties’ widget like that, with the user avatar on the left, and then the links on the right over 2 neat lines. Is this a custom plugin?
