Appreciate the response,

In reply to: Sticky POSTSI’ll give it a try as I don’t believe there is a plugin for this yet.
In reply to: bbPress capabilitiesHere’s another one I happened upon.
In reply to: bbPress capabilities@ jebro,
I noticed this post got spammed over night. Here are some “actual” plugins you can try that fit your criteria.

In reply to: New Users Specify Password@juboe: Everyone’s gotta start somewhere. Glad to help!
In reply to: bbPress capabilitiesI believe all of these options are available as plugins. Search the plugins page:
In reply to: New Users Specify PasswordHello juboe,
_ck_ has developed an “instant password” plugin. The link is: https://bbpress.org/plugins/topic/instant-password/installation/
As he suggests you may want to install the “Human Test” plugin: https://bbpress.org/plugins/topic/human-test/
as the instant password will automatically log you in upon registering.
Create a folder titled my-plugins. Upload the plugin to the folder. Go to your bbpress admin interface and activate. You will now see a password field in your registration page.
Hope this helps!
In reply to: Changing admin nameOnce you change the name go to the “edit” profile page as your admin and the name you changed admin to should be in the dropdown menu where your username is. Select it and click update profile.
In reply to: Changing admin nameHello ck13,
You are not able to do this through your admin interface but you can change any name in the actual user DB.
In reply to: forums disappearedAre you adding them from the admin interface? Or on the front page as admin?

Got It!And as always, THANKS!
Ok I accomplished the registration page edit. But now I cannot find what line its on in the profile-edit.php.
I was not aware. Appreciate it.
So for the profile.php, I would have to create profile-base.php, profile-edit.php, and profile.php to the templates files?
Thanks Chris, super helpful.
Does this work with any php file?
In reply to: Rearrange Profile PagesThanks for trying to help pelle.
Hoping someone else may have some answers or plugin or something…
Thanks Chris,
Are you familar with the “bbpress-forum” template. It doesnt have a specific register.php. Maybe thats why I am having such a hard time with this “what should be an easy” fix.
In reply to: Rearrange Profile PagesThanks, Am I replacing the whole profile-edt.php with this script. It is still giving me nothing after the text:
Password
To change your password, enter a new password twice below:
In reply to: Rearrange Profile PagesThat’s awesome but all it is giving me is
Password
To change your password, enter a new password twice below:
And thats the end of the page. It is not giving me any more of the form. i.e. input fields for the password or any of the Profile fields.
In reply to: Rearrange Profile PagesAll I’m trying to accomplish is getting the “New Password” above the “Profile” information. Everything else to stay the same.
In reply to: WP forwarding to /forum/wp-adminWhere is bbpress installed in your ftp?
In reply to: Rearrange Profile PagesGave It a try, not sure where to start and end with the password. Any chance you could past the script I need to move in order to accomplish this.
In reply to: Rearrange Profile PagesWill give it a try pelle. Thanks. Also, I noticed on the bottom of the profile page it gives a “All these fields are required message” Where do I delete that as it doesn’t have any relevance once registered.
In reply to: Registration EmailHello _ck_, I appreciate the help, however I had to go another route because of the plugin issue.
To anyone else who is trying to edit the registration email, Note:
BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN EDITING THE FOLLOWING FILE!
functions.bb-users.php
!!You are going to want to copy and paste all content in this file to notepad to assure that you have it incase something happens!!
Towards the bottom of the page you will see the new user email content. There you can add text to the email.
Thanks again _ck_
In reply to: Registration EmailI have bbpress 1.0.2
