Are you trying to install the plugins for this site in combination with the bbPress plugin or with the standalone edition?
The plugins on this site are for the standalone edition, not for the plugin, so that could be the problem.
Try this:

Slightly offtopic, but the title fits the following question though:
Maybe a bit early, but is there a listing of 2.x plugins somewhere?
If not, maybe a sticky topic on here with a first post that gets updated when someone adds a new plugin or something would do? People can post their contributions in the topic then.

but I don’t know if there are more? A list would be nice?
Awesome JJJ, Guatam and the rest of the contributers! What I’ve seen so far on Guatam’s page looks really good.
Can’t wait to test it when it’s in the WordPress plugin repository.
One question though: It’s been brought up in this topic before, but does the plugin keep track of what has been read and what not at the moment? There was some talk about a seperate plugin too… If the bbpress plugin doesn’t have it, is that seperate plugin available somewhere?
Is there anything a moderate PHP programmer / designer can do to help? Testing, coding?
Looking forward to see this plugin developed. Could use a proper forum plugin that integrates well with WordPress itself.
