In reply to: Delete user but not their posts
Hi there,
Shmoo’s suggestion will do the job, thanks! But generally I think deleting of your own account could / should be a core component of bbPress rather than having to do that from an admin side. The posts & topics should stay and the former user will be marked as “retired”, “anonymous” or rather anything you ould like to specify (add an option to change the value in bbPress options).
Thanks so much!!
In reply to: bbPress 2.4 // ERROR // Search stopped working…I don’t like the “/” either, just for aesthetical reasons. Will revert once this has been resolved with an update.
In reply to: bbPress 2.4 // ERROR // Search stopped working…OH MY GOD. That’s it! 😀
-> The trailing “/” did it for me as well!Who wants to submit the bug report? I’ll do so tomorrow if no one else bothers before…
Thanks a bunch pm2t.
In reply to: bbPress 2.4 // ERROR // Search stopped working…Already did (re-)save the permalinks settings (see original post). Did it again right now just to make sure & still the same problem…
What to do? Which file / script / logic could be responsible?
When issuing a search-query, this is the “real” URL, which gets called first (before rewriting):
/search?action=bbp-search-request&bbp_search=my-query << No problems here, right?FYI: I deactivated all the other plugins – no effect, the error persists.
In reply to: bbPress 2.4 // ERROR // Search stopped working…Sorry…
WP 3.6
bbPress 2.4
Theme “Optimize Press”
URL –> Behind a paywall (membership site), so posting it won’t help…In reply to: Editing the look of closed topics…Thanks roymorris,
that pointed me in the right direction. Btw: The same procedure works for bbp_get_forum_status.
Regards! In reply to: Removing the "Comma" in subforums listWorks perfect for me as well, thanks!
OK, found out what made this happen: W3 Total Cache…
W3’s page cache recognizes the first visit when the user isn’t logged in & gets a “not allowed to see this”-message. After (successful) login this page is still in the cache & not served dynamically again thus not recognizing the changed login-state & still showing the message.
My debugging was no good – sorry for bothering!
Please mark closed / resolved. The code got stripped! Can you post again?
In reply to: Roles under username (.bbp-author-role)Perfect solution – thanks a bunch!
@Bart: I just texted you – let’s make this happen 🙂
Any results will be shared here, so others may benefit. Hang in there.
