completely agree with your first point. Even though when I click on an answer it just to page 1, which I do not understand.

just remembered that I had to answer this one. It seems, that it was because she was trying to put in some smilies and that was not well received by the forum. Not sure why but when she put in the smilies it made the rest of the message dissapear.

Using the latest replies widget and you click on a topic. Some topics take you to the last page of the thread and some take you to the first page. Most of the time it takes you to page 1 of the thread. So people have to click on the last page to read the latest posts in the thread. This adds a lot of extra clicks for the user, when they have to do this every time they go to another thread.

The New posts since last visit is something I really need and did not know that it was possible to get.
When they were working did you get it through a certain plugin or did that funcion come with the forum or how?

Well, she now replied that she only has 11 favorites, so I cant imagine that that would be the problem.
When will the next version be out? I am getting complaints about this from my users.
updated to 2.5 and it still happens. A user sent me a screen shot of what she wrote and what actually appeared in the message. And only the first line of the message was included in the message published. The rest was erased.

Found the problem. It was not actually the plugin, but an html signature that was causing it. The signature was not closed properly and caused the replies to jump to the right.
seems that it might have something to do with the GD bbPress Tools plugin. My programmer managed to fix it, but it broke the signature. So he is working on it now.
Nobody knows why this is?
Tried it and it did not work. When I check it and set it to 2 levels, then it changes it to be nested to 2 levels and when I uncheck it, it goes back to nested to more levels, not sure how many.
Or any other way this can be done, if not through a plugin
We fixed the first couple of pages in each forum and activated it before I saw your reply here. So now it is already active and we cannot import it again, since there are a lot of entries in the forum.
But thx for the fix, I am sure it will come in handy for others who migrate. I believe many will, as it seems development has stopped on mingle forum.
seems we have found part of the problem. If there is a two or more topics with the same titel, it merges part of it and takes some posts out and makes them info topics. So the problems could have something to do with topics in the same forum that have the same titel.
Also if the user has changed the titel in some posts it seems to cause problems. Because a post from a topic appeared in another topic. And in that post the user had changed the titel. The other posts in the topic were not moved.
Still looking for a solution, so I hope someone could help.
There does not seem to be any logic in which topics this happens to or at least I cannot see it.
in the title it should say posts in many topics, separated into new topics
