bbPress Live works fine with 2.8 unless you’re doing deep integration. As for with deep integration, I’m not sure if the error is with my files or with the plugin itself. I have discussed it with Sam. But unless you’re doing deep integration, Live works with 2.8.

I was using it until I decided to change the look of my website. When I went to PixoPoint’s Theme Generator, it called for having deep integration. And since I’m far too busy right now (I’m not a coder or anything like that for a living.. I’m a mother), I didn’t feel like doing all the work arounds to get the same functionality as I had previously. But if you have a bbPress that doesn’t need deep integration, I highly recommend bbPress Live.

Okay.. Figured out the first part of the problem. It was an issue with bbPress Live. Now doing some stuff to make sure it’s not something I’ve done.. Hopefully it’s not the plugin.

I think it’s just the plugin.. Going to consider this resolved for now. If for some reason it’s not the plugin, I’ll unmark it resolved.

Thanks, john. My error log says a lot and so I’m trying to figure out if it is a plugin that’s culprit or if it’s something much deeper!

Okay.. Suddenly the error log got like 100x bigger..

Okay.. SSH’d in and did the php lint and it comes up saying No syntax errors detected in bb-config.php

I’m not sure where to find my error logs.. Let me dig around and see if I can’t find it!

I’m still getting the same issue, but now it’s 500 for all the website.

I’m having some cookie issues. Please tell me what I’m doing wrong here. I’m using WP 2.8. I’ve set authkey stuff to be identical on both WP and BB.. What am I doing wrong? I felt really flustered earlier today for not seeing what I’m doing wrong.

[RESOLVED] I overlooked something. Thanks though!

I believe it needs a close parenthesis at the end.

ETA: and it’ll need a ; after the ) as well..

Ganzuelo, go to your header.php. Scroll down to around line 95. Under the div id nav, you’ll see a lot of links. Just plug your URLs in there, and change the text to whatever you want it to be.

lolos, I apologize for taking so long to get back. You can download the themes together at http://www.asparenting.com/downloads/ASPtheme.zip . You’ll want to go into header.php in the bbpress template and manually edit the page links.

Honestly, it took me going through lots of different themes before coming to this one. I chose two themes from the same creator because generally, they’ll follow the same code. Then I had to figure out what was what. Such as with these themes, there was originally two sidebars for the wordpress theme, so I had to consolidate.

BTW, I haven’t figured out what to do about the granny font size. For now, I’m going to keep it the way it is. I’m not able to reproduce the error even when I granny size.

Are you using FF2 or 3? I’m on Flock, and my husband on FF3 and we’re not getting that. Also, what is your desktop resolution? I’ll try to recreate what you’re getting.

Edit: Actually, what is it that you’re seeing as floating? I’m confused.. I thought you were talking about the tags, but those don’t float in IE or Flock for me.
