I’ve already looked into that as a viable solution, but WordPress’ back-end just complicates things for new users. bbPress is a lot simpler solution in that a forum is built around the idea of community, I’m just theming it not to look like a forum for advertising purposes, everyone knows that the ctr for forums are terrible. Plus I already gutted Kakumei beyond recognition, can’t turn back now

The way the poll is applied is once you posted a new topic you are than asked if you want to create a poll, the poll creation is fairly straight forward: title of poll => choose if single or multiple votes allowed => you can place as much as 10 questions => submit. Hope that helps.
Unfortunately I’m not much of a coder, I get by, but hacking code to make it work in a specific way is a little over my head. Regarding the poll-plugin I was referring to that, wondering if anyone got it to work in this manner.

Installed the plugin still getting the errors, i just removed the part regarding topic resolve, its a temporary fix for now.
I apologize the was a premature resolved… I didn’t get it working, as I thought. Let me clarify what I’m trying to do.
The RSS feed shows replies to the top topic, I only want the top topic to show up, I don’t want any of the replies to show in the rss feed. I hope thats more clear, thanks!
