In reply to: bbPress 2.0 – Updates
Just found an interesting bug here, when you split a topic it shows the error messaages:
ERROR: Invalid author name submitted!
ERROR: Invalid email address submitted!
Doesn’t split but when you go back to the forum, the post has split off but not to anything else and can only be seen by going to the wp-admin area.

In reply to: bbPress 2.0 – UpdatesIs there a way for the forums you setup to live in http:/forum.gdnm.org with no trailing /forums because I am using a wordpress multisite install and eventually will switch to bbpress and the forum doesn’t sit on the front page and I can’t see how to do that.

In reply to: Adding to the allowed tags in KSESI know chrishajer but the bbvideo plugin is crap because people like and are used to putting in the embed code, my users are tech savie just not used to the restrictiveness, can I disable filtering for all attributes of the embed, object, img, and param tags?
In reply to: Remove Forum Dashes: —Can we see your front-page.php code as its possibly part of the html as mine uses a different template and it only has one dash.
In reply to: *Lost* Admin UsernameYou could just restore your password, if you don’t know the username then you could look it up in the mysql database, however please don’t post two posts with different titles as its not necessary.
In reply to: Alpha 7…anytime soon????If you take a look on the forum there has been quite a lot of discussion, ck would seem to think and probably rightly that 1.0 will not be out before the year is over, so it could be that alpha 7 pops up at some point but beta is a way of I would assume as they have made quite slow progress because only 1/2 of them are working on it however I believe another person has returned from the wordpress camp to help out.
I am sure ck will chime in soon enough!

In reply to: WPMU 2.6 + bbPress 1.0 alpha – Keymaster issueI have investigated some more it seems that new users of mu which own blogs get assigned as inactive on bbpress, dispite the role map being set to give them member level or higher for all levels on the role map.
Any suggestions, theres no error codes it just plain doesn’t like wpmu’s role map
In reply to: WPMU 2.6 + bbPress 1.0 alpha – Keymaster issueI have just tried again now using alpha 2.0 and while the integration was easier and the keymaster seems to work fine user role maps still are not coming across from wpmu
