In reply to: Plugin: Private Forums v 2.1
I installed the Restrict Registration for bbPress plugin. Every time I make a change to restrictions in the admin panel, all my Private Forums are reset to “Open to All.”
Not sure where the problem lies (I assume with the restriction plugin), but thought I’d post it here just in case.
In reply to: Plugin: Restrict registration for bbPressThanks for writing this plugin.
Every time I update the restriction settings, my Private Forum plugin settings are reset to “Open To All.” Not sure if the problem is with this plugin or the Private Forum plugin.
In reply to: Is there an Approve Registration plugin?bump
In reply to: Is there an Approve Registration plugin?I just had a series of bogus users register to my small, friends-only forum. I would LOVE to see a plugin that allows me to approve users.
In reply to: Jump to last postI found the culprit: the Front Page Topics plugin.
In reply to: Jump to last postOk, I switched back to Kakumei and turned off all plugins except this one. Works fine now.
I’ll figure out which one is causing the problem and report it to the author, as well as here in this thread.
In reply to: Jump to last postfel64,
I didn’t compare this to the one you posted a few months ago. But it still doesn’t work for me. Clicking the >> next to the thread just gets me to a page that does not show any posts. I have to click the “Go to last post” link on that page to get there.
The link for >> is this, for example:
http://www.citizenkeith.com/forums/topic.php?id=65&page=200&replies=996#post-29898
The link for the actual last post is this:
http://www.citizenkeith.com/forums/topic.php?id=65&page=34&replies=996#post-29898
So it looks as though pages are messed up. I’ll try turning off every single plugin again and will report back with info.
In reply to: Usernames with spaces do not workI tried this plugin, and it’s not working with v 0.8.3.
I need spaces and special characters like รก. Any advice?
In reply to: Is there an Approve Registration plugin? Is there a plugin that forces new user registrations to be approved by the keymaster?
I’m interested in this feature too. (Hint hint)
In reply to: Should I get an email when new users are created?I suppose I should write a plugin for it then.
I’d certainly welcome it!
In reply to: Plugin: [REL] SignatureLooks awesome. Thanks!
In reply to: Freshness LinkedI think bb-admin is broken because I had to edit some template files… I honestly haven’t taken the time to find out yet. It’s on the list for tonight though.
In reply to: Plugin: [REL] SignatureThanks ck! I’ll download and install the newest version tonight. And sorry for the gender slip!
In reply to: Freshness LinkedOk, I finally got around to some testing. I have disabled almost all plugins and recounted… still the same behavior. However, I was unable to disable “Online List” and “BBPress Private Messaging” because it broke the admin console. So there’s a chance that one of those plugins might be causing this strange behavior.
In reply to: Plugin: [REL] SignatureThanks fel! In the meantime, I’ll just edit HTML special characters in my user’s signatures.
In reply to: Plugin: [REL] SignatureThanks guys, I figured it out.
Dumb Question #2: How does one use quotes or apostrophes in their signatures? Forward slashes are inserted before each instance.
In reply to: Plugin: [REL] SignatureDumb question: What should I add to post.php?
Thanks, ck!
In reply to: Plugin: bbCode for bbPress_ck_: Thanks for the Tweaks plugin. Very useful!
In reply to: Plugin: bbCode for bbPressToday, one of my users didn’t close his strong and em tags… which made the everything after his post bold and italic!
If you update the plugin, you might want to consider auto-closing all bbcode tags.
In reply to: User-editable Custom TitlesWell, I don’t know the first thing about writing plugins, so if somebody can help out, I’d appreciate it.
In reply to: Plugin: [REL] SignatureAny chance that we can add smilies from the emoticon plugin into the sigature? Or at least an IMG tag?
In reply to: Freshness LinkedThanks fel… still no go. The only difference is that the thread isn’t shown as “closed.”
In reply to: Freshness Linkedfel64,
Did you ever get a chance to this out?
In reply to: bbPress 0.8.2No README or INSTALL files?
I’ve read the blog post and any pertinent thread, but I was hoping for some install/upgrade instructions, like WordPress supplies.
In reply to: Plugin: Move ItThat did the trick. Thanks!
Is there an easy way to make this a “Key Master Only” function?
