In reply to: Adding Google Adsense to Sidebar
Brand new adsense units often take more than 10 minutes to start showing up… so you may not see them immediately.
Not sure what to do about them showing up in the wrong place – but knowing your forum address would let us have a look and try to help you solve.
In reply to: BikingToronto.com/ForumThanks for the link batrachoid… I’ll look around on there.
In reply to: BikingToronto.com/ForumHahaha… yeah, I’m no fan of them myself. Google seems to like them for embedding stuff, though, unfortunately.
I wonder if there’s a way to embed google stuff without an i-frame?
In reply to: Avatar Plugin ProblemsCan you link to the Avatars plug-in? I think there’s a few of them.
I’m using Avatar Upload, and after some fiddling, it’s working great.
In reply to: BikingToronto.com/ForumThanks Ipstenu.
Still a very extreme newbie to all this “press” stuff… but I’m loving bbpress so far. A little bit of customization with a few plug-ins and a theme has gone relatively smoothly… but I still can’t really get the Admin Can Post Anything plug-in to work properly… it does not seem to like i-frames… which are essential for embedding google maps and docs.
In reply to: Plugin Request – RSS Feed ImportI’m interested as well.
In reply to: How do you add moderators?Just to add to my above post… I can’t edit *any* profiles… even my own.
If a user edits their own profile, the changes “take”… but not when I do it.
In reply to: How do you add moderators?Hi everyone,
When I do the below to promote a user to a moderator, the change doesn’t seem to “take”. The screen re-loads and the profile edit screen is re-set to what it was before I made the change.
“To add a user as a moderator, admin or another key-master, log in with your admin account and then go to the user profile that you want to change. Then you just ‘edit’ their profile and one of the options is to change their role. It isn’t done through the admin right now.”
In reply to: BikingToronto.com/ForumHi Massbase…
I’m super-new to all the *press stuff… so I’m not sure what you’re talking about… BBpress can replace WordPress and Buddypress and WPMU?
