I’d like to see the following plugins:

Since HTML is long-winded to type:

• BBCode – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BBcode
• Markdown – http://daringfireball.net/projects/markdown/
• Textile – http://textism.com/tools/textile/

Which could convert the posts’ content before DB storage, and ‘unconvert’ before editting. (in case the plugins are removed, or if users don’t like them)

For me, the most useful thing would be a little WP plugin that shows the same information that’s in the Latest Discussions section of the bbpress front page.

Nothing too fancy, just ordered by freshness, so I could pop something in my sidebar similar to the “recent comments” section I have on boakes.org.

@ear1grey: Maybe I´ve got the plugin you want to have – some time ago I created a plugin like that for a bbpress+wordpress site which is no more online – I´ll search it on my HD and test it, and if it still works I´ll put it up for download…

You may need to modify your rss2.php and copy it to your my-templates folder.

i would love to see bbpress available as a wordpress plugin so i don’t have to jump through all the integration hoops. i’m not true geek… just a wanabee and i don’t really know how to make bbpress work with wordpress.
