Would be possible a forum with only one topic?

    Hello to all

I want to do this with buddypress and bbpress:

When I click on a group and later in the forum group I would like to see directly the posts, like if the group’s forum would be a only one topic. The group’s forum only has one topic, when I enter the forum I see directly the messages.

    Is this possible?

    Thanks

yes, just create a topic, no forums, and then create a page with the following shortcode

    [bbp-single-topic id=$topic_id]

That way you’ll just have a page with that one topic.

    Thanks for your reply.

But with this method, if some user click on the forum icon of the group (remember that I’m using buddypress plugin too), it will send to anywhere. It would be neccesary make a re-link to that page, isn’t? The problem is that if I have a lot of groups, I will have to make a lot of re-links manually.

The problem is that features like private group (implies private forum) will not affect that single page, isn’t?

change the forum url to the topic you want to use url with this plugin.

edit that specific forum you want to have one topic , scroll down and add your topic url in the metabox.
