I will preface this to say that I am using the BuddyBoss plugin and theme. But as it also uses the same widgets, I am coming here to try to get some help on how to use this widget.

I am trying to set it up in the sidebar of a BB group.

I only see 2 options for this widget: “0” to show only root – “any” to show all
(This, to me, is extremely vague info…)

What I want is to show a SPECIFIC forum and it’s subforums. Is there a way to do this with this widget? I’ve tried using the forum ID as well as it’s permalink…but neither did anything.

just taken a quick look.

yes it looks like it will show the sub forums of a forum ID you enter, but not the parent forums as well.

I should say I’m not a bbpress author, and after a check of the code it is not an easy change to fix
