The standard validation in the post form is pretty ugly. If anything goes wrong, the bb_post.php just puts up a white screen with a terse message like “Slow down, you go too fast”, or “You need to actually submit some content!”.

The only ways I can see around this are to replace the bb_post.php in its entirety or do client side validation using javascript.

Any other solutions out there?
