I have the plugin installed and I have set up a few forums with a few topics each but the forum in not meant to be active yet. I have not added the login/registration widget. However, it seems hackers are able to create user accounts. Is there a fix for this?

Disable user registration in wordpress.

I’m having the same issue.

Everything is private/hidden and password protected.

I woke up to 87 emails yesterday and 35 this morning!!! Yikes!
