Troubles with registration

I am having some problems with my registration page. When i try to fill in the fields it says that I need to fill in a email address although I already have entered a valid address. Thats my first problem.
Second one is that the login box for the forum, that is located in the sidebar, disappears when im on the register or password page. Is there any way to get it to stick?
Thirdly, how do I change witch fields that should appear when people want to register? For example, I would not need the “Occupation” field for users on my site.
Would be glad if someone would have some input on this.

Thank you Zaerl! Now that problems is solved.
However the problem with the login field dissapearing when I visit the registration-page is still there. Anny plugin for that?
