Hi, I am having trouble installing the group component of buddy press. I follow all the directions and have created a file in my host root directory and pasted the code they said to. Despite this I go to the menu for groups and create a group – it says form valid and that is as far as it goes. The group is not in the directory and I can’t go on to the other things such as settings, avatar etc… I am not good at code or complex stuff like the rest of you so can any of you give me easy to understand suggestions or a way to get the group component live.
