Hi,
sorry if this is repeated request, but I think it is a valid and important one,

I think Topic Views (or in other words popularity) is more important in the forum index than number of “voices” since ‘voices” is similar to number of replies

There used to be a plugin for Topic Views.. but it is not working with 2.3 Bppress and I suppose with 2.4 🙁

Maybe someone would try and update this plugin? if it not is scheduled to be added to the core bbpress.
