So if I have this URL path with a forum:

www,website,com/forum/a/b/c/

And when a topic is created for any forum category it’s automatically:

www,website,com/topic/this-is-a-topic/

I was wondering if I can get it to remain in the same path like so:

www,website,com/forum/a/b/c/topic/this-is-a-topic/

How would I go about accomplishing this, and would it cause problems later on for any reason?

I cannot think of anything right now so this might be custom development for now. You may need to hire a developer to do this for you.
