Hello – I have no coding experience whatsoever but I have worked with WordPress before. I would love to do a discussion forum, but the whole process has to be idiot proof for me. Can anyone recommend a theme that looks good and is beyond easy to use with the discussion forum?

bbpress largely picks up on your wordpress theme, use any of thevdefault ones and you’ll get a great look.

Thank you both for your advice. If I choose to use the plugin with my existing website (www.informedsenior.ca) that uses Premium Press Directory Press theme can I use the existing login system that I have. Because the forum will be part of the website, I want the user to log into the website to use the forum, not a separate forum login. Also, I like the login widget wtih the forum. If I use that widget on the forum page, can it be tied with the existing login too?

yes and yes !

bbPress uses the wordpress login, you simply have an additinla contro, to set the user access level to the forums.

So each users has a wordpress access level and a bbpress access level, but only one login !
