theme not loading on register and search page
-
I recently downloaded new themes to my-templates – at first the themes would not display but after searching the forums I changed the folder settings and now the new themes are displaying fine at my forum:
http://www.nissenfundoplication.com
However, the theme will not display on the REGISTER page or the SEARCH page.

I tried changing the permissions on bb-templates and kakumei but it didn’t help.
Any Suggestions?
Thanks!

Hi Chris,
It appears to be working.
Has it been fixed in the last few hours, or do you have a new link you could provide us with. Fingers crossed it’s been fixed
The forum works fine, but the REGISTER and SEARCH pages load but WITHOUT the template:

Hi Chris,
It appears to be working when I load those pages. Could you post a screenshot of what you see?
Thanks,
Kev
Exactly what should be shown on the register and search pages? It looks like a theme is loading but maybe you want a different layout on those pages?
Also, is this integrated with WordPress? I noticed the current tab highlight up top doesn’t ever seem to change.
No, this site is NOT integrated with WordPress – it’s a standalone forum.
How do I insert a screenshot into this reply box? I know how to take a screenshot in Vista but I cannot get it posted…

When I open the above links – my template is gone and there is just a featureless version of my page (without the theme used on the rest of the site)? I’ve verified this on another computer…
Thanks for your time,
Chris R.
Chris,
I’m looking at this on my phone and on a desktop.
The theme is loaded.
Can you give us a better discription of what you think isn’t loaded and we’ll try and help from there?
You can post your screenshot at something like http://imageshack.us/ or even your own server. Then just post the link here. I think we may be seeing different things.
OK, here is a screenshot of what I see when I load the register page:

Thanks!
Chris
That’s not what I am seeing, and maybe not what Kevinjohn is seeing either. Here is what I see.
UPDATE:
Weird. Now, I see exactly what you posted. Before, it looked just like your theme. The header was there with tabs. The left sidebar on the register page just said “registration” or something, with a HR.
Then, on the search page, it was wider, with no sidebar, and the footer text (the disclaimer) was full width, centered, and a larger font.
But on both pages, the styles were present. Right now, they are not, and I suspect this is what you were always seeing.
Wait
The above reply was what I saw in Chrome on Windows XP.
Now, with Firefox on XP, I see it styled again. Screenshots:

Odd
Maybe something with the UPPER and lower case? Can you rename the theme folder to all lower case (I know, it should not matter, but right now this makes no sense.)
OK, so at least I’m not crazy! By the way, I’ve tried this on multiple computers but only using Internet Explorer.
When I rename the theme folder to all lower case (WPMimic to wpmimic) – I get the error message “Theme not found. Default theme applied.” Am I missing something?
Thanks for your time!
Chris R.
Here is the complete error message (Dashboard:Appearance) AFTER changing from WPMIMIC to wpmimic:
Theme not found. Default theme applied.

All of this theme’s files are located in the “” themes directory.
changing the theme folder to lowercase didn’t solve the problem best I can tell…
Here is the screenshot reposted with template folder in lowercase:

just going to ditch this template – switching to another template solves the problem
