I can scheduled topics ahead of time from the backend, but is there a way to subscribe to them before they are actually posted?

I often get quick replies when they are posted and I would like to be notified as soon as possible after they post.

This plugin might well work, I haven’t tried it with scheduled posts, but suspect it would work.

You just need to be subscribed to the relevant forums
