I’m running the bbPress plugin 2.0 and the most recent version of WP. For some reason the “Subscribe” to topic function is not sending email notifications… On this site I am also running a plugin called bbPress New Topic Notifications and it is not sending email notifications either.

I have another site that is almost identical, running the same WP version and plugins, and it is working fine (both are with the same host as well). I have been troubleshooting this all day but with no success… aaarrgh!

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Just to clarify… I am running 2.0-rc-5 and still having the Subscription/Notification issue…

I suggest upgrading from the release candidate and seeing if the problem remains.

WordPress is sending email notifications just fine, it is only bbPress notifications that are not…

Some others were reporting that emails weren’t being sent if the post was from a user that wasn’t logged in. Is this the case for you?

Thanks Andre for the quick response… no, subscription notifications do not work when a user is logged in.
