Dear all eminent wordpress gurus ,

This is pertaining to the site http://www.dentistrytoday.info which is a dentistry related discussion forum

    I have two queries :
    1) Is there any plugin which inserts a box of Creating new topic on the home page .
What we are looking out for is something similar to major social media sites.

    2) Pls also comment on the UI, layout and colour scheme of the forum ? ( home page as well as forum proper ). What improvements are required so that the home page becomes more elegant and inviting ?
Thanks in advance for all inputs and many thanks in advance for the same

    Regards,
    Dr. Veerendra Darakh

    Many thanks for the response.

As mentioned by me this pertaining to the site http://www.dentistrytoday.info.

Being a dental forum we may have to keep on adding; modifying or deleting forums.

    So I have 2 queries:
1.Will forums be reflected as a drop down menu in “START NEW POST” on home page?
If not, what needs to be done so that list of forums are reflected after the uses types in “CREATE NEW POST” and before he checks on SUBMIT button.
This will ensure that the new post goes in the right forum.

    2. When we edit modify or delete the forums will the list in the drop down menu automatically get changed.

Hope to see a lot of responses and many thanks in advance for the same.

    Regards,
    Dr. Veerendra Darakh.

you would create a page and use a shortcode block to add thw following shortcode

[bbp-topic-form] – which displays the ‘New Topic’ form where you can choose from a drop down menu the forum that this topic is to be associated with.

then on you home page, insert a ‘button’ block which links to this page
