I’m trying to change the slug name for “Topics” in settings, but when I make a change it isn’t reflected on the front end. Is there something I need to do to get it to apply? No caching plugins are in use.

For example, I changed the topic slug to discussion-topic, but when I visit a topic page, the URL is still site.com/topic/title/

MAke sure you don’t also have any posts, pages, or items in the trash that also use that same discussion-topic slug

@netweb, no nothing like that. I also tried a few different slugs just in case, but no luck.

What about a word without a hyphen? Does discussiontopic work?

I can’t remember if there is a limitation like this or not, I’ll dig around some more and find out for sure later 🙂

Well, the default Topic Tag slug is topic-tag, so I assume a dash isn’t a problem, but I also tried one without a dash and no dice.
