says logged out when user is logged in

    Hi,
    when a user logs in to our forum and then clicks on any link (e.g. a forum topic or forum post) it says you are not logged in……. This can be fixed by pressing F5. I have a caching plugin but it is set to ignore the forum pages.
    Any ideas why this happens?
