Resuming Weekly Dev Chats

As we are coming back on trac(k), I think we should also resume our weekly dev IRC chats.

I also had a suggestion of keeping it between 4:30 AM (GMT) and 5:00 PM (GMT) (on weekends), or between 11:30 AM (GMT) and 5:00 PM (GMT) (on weekdays), so I could attend them (though I know that it would be not beneficial for all to just change it for one person).

    Thanks!

  • Not a bad idea. I’m hanging out on #bbpress if anyone wants to chat, but it’s unlikely I’ll be able to commit personally to any regular meetings this month or the next.

I talked to JJJ about weekly dev chats last night and we would definitely like to revive them. http://bbpdevel.wordpress.com/2010/07/19/weekly-dev-chat/

Yeah, +1 from me. I’m GMT +11 (Melbourne) and in a weird time zone, but it’d be cool to see things happening again :)

Any extra who could input ideas, help build on what the Plugin has already, would be a great idea. So starting up these Dev Chats again would also be a smashing idea, possibly setting up something like WordPress.org has (or will have) with make.bbpress.org/plugin to keep upto date with news and such? :)

All for doing the weekly chats again. The rest of the little .org type stuff will come along soon too.

bbPress ones were posted on the blog once. Easy way of reference would do :)
