The bb-attachments has an option to upload images to Amazon’s S3 service. It could probably be modified to not save a copy of the image on your local server…

postimage makes some scripts for some forums. I requested for BBpress but I think it’s a low demand. Look here: http://www.postimage.org/mod.php

Whoops! I seem to have forgotten to take out my debug code! Remove line 16 (if ( bb_current_user_can( 'use_keys' ) )), and people should be able to use it.

please dont bump old topics , and you can also use imgur since they now offer unlimited uploads for free , plus links to the images automatically embed using oembed.
